Since 1830, Auvillar has been home to 13 thriving earthenware factories, while its port was a thriving centre of activity for the barge industry. Today, thanks to the Musée du Vieil Auvillar, you can explore over 500 pieces of authentic Auvillar earthenware, as well as delving into the fascinating history of river navigation on the Garonne.
